Everything in the Mouth!
Of course this age is all about putting things in your mouth. In Haven's case she still does it! Anyway, there is a bottle nipple that floats around our house from a bottle I let Haven use as a baby bottle. Levi got ahold of it and shoved the whole thing into his mouth.
He will crawl around with toys hanging out of his mouth. We have a puzzle with a nob on the front and he will crawl around with the nob in his mouth and the puzzle piece just pressed up against his mouth.
If I take pictures of Levi, then I have to take them of Haven. She even wants to be the "baby" now. Or if I make a big deal out of something Levi is doing, she will start to mimic it.
This is the position of Levi's mouth most of the time. He is so funny. He doesn't do many consonants or vowels. He mostly grunts, yells, and squeals.
Daddy and Haven were in the kid's room with Levi. When I went in to get them, this is what Levi looked like.
Of course, Haven had to have her picture taken, since I was taking Levi's.

Snowmen and Smiles
Late last week we had about a 6 inch snowfall. I had started to melt down, so I wanted to let Haven make a snowman before it was all gone. So we bundled up and ventured out. Bundling up is quite the ordeal!
Jonathan and Levi watched.
Jonathan was amazed that you could roll the snow and it would stick into a bigger and bigger ball. California boy! He said he has tried it before and it didn't work. You have to have a nice wet snow for it to work. I had to keep brushing off the fall leaves.
Haven basically brushed the gloves on the snow to smooth it I suppose.
I couldn't find proper snowmen eyes and mouth, so I had to use lifesavers.
The finished product.
Jonathan's idea for a pine cone nose worked out great.
Haven said, "It tastes like ice cream." We also made snow angels, but they were hard to see.
There was an ah-ha moment the next day....snow is water and water melts lifesavers! It is hard to see, but the snowman was quite bloody from the melted red lifesavers. The day after that the wound had extended to the snowman's chest.
On a different note. A couple of days ago we went to visit a member of our congregation who is in a nursing home. His roommate Bob (seen below) was blest by the joyful spirit of Haven. She wanted to sit on his lap, so we let her sit on the arm of the chair. I think it made his day! He just kept smiling at her. She also played catch (once) and he enjoyed that too. She really does bring joy to all who meet her.

A weeks worth of Cute
Levi is getting so big. I noticed how long he is getting. What a charmer he is when he smiles.
I love Levi kisses!
Isn't that a mischievous look.
The nurse always comments on how orange Levi looks. It is because he only eats carrots and green beans.
After bath time we were trying to give Levi a cool hairstyle.
Their first bath together. Levi loves the water, can you tell?
Haven was driving daddy and Levi who knows where.
Jonathan was putting together a bookcase for all of Haven's movies and the kids where "helping". Levi was helping by slobbering all over the directions.

Christmas 2009 - Pt 6 Random Photos
Here are some random photos during Christmas vacation. A lot of these were taken my Sheryl and Amie.
This beautiful pic was captured by Sheryl.
Eugene looking like a pirate. The tag looks like a nice huge earring.
Haven loves shoes, so she grabbed Aunt Amie's high healed boots. I probably shouldn't have asked her to pose. We'll hide this pic when she is a teenager!

Levi was NOT happy! Can you tell?
Cullen had been playing with Levi having Levi "hit" him in the face.
Haven was watching Thumbelina, which is a very annoying movie, but it cracked me up because Coten got into it and I saw dad watching a couple of times too.
Haven was riding the horsy, and then Haven wanted to be the horsey. No picture, but it was quite funny to see big Jim riding the little Haven pony.
