Is it a boy?

Well here is the new addition to our family.  This was taken at about 15 weeks.  Sorry a bit blurry, but it is a picture of the slightly blurry picture!.  You can see ?his? head and a little fist by his mouth.  I think it looks like a boy profile.  What do you think?
The arrow is pointing at ?him? sucking his thumb.  So that will make two thumb suckers.
Poor ?boy? I am exposing his parts to the world....we think.  Here is why the tech said she thought it was a boy, but no guarantees this early.  We will know in about four weeks what the final diagnosis will be.  The horse shoe shape is ?his? rear end and ?his? legs and in the middle is ?his?....hmmm.

Wagons and Boo Boos

Haven sat herself in one of her wagons.
And made her self comfortable after I got her out the first time and wouldn't take her out the second time.
But of course I had mercy after she couldn't remove herself from the situation and started getting upset about it.
Haven took her first concrete head dive off of a step.  I guess it was closer to a side dive off the step.  She wasn't paying attention and I couldn't get to her fast enough.  If you look it is near her hair line...on the left as you look at the picture.  I was just thinking that she really hasn't had many scrapes and bruises, but of course Monday she scraped up her arm and we have no idea how and now her head.  She is getting to that age!
Here is a side shot.  It really could have been worse.  It just scraped, but didn't bleed.  It looks bruised, but it's not it is just the picture.

Chubby Bunny

Chubby Bunny is a game where you stick as many large marsh mellows in your mouth as possible while still being able to say chubby bunny.  Last night my Wednesday night young adult class, along with a couple from church, went to the park to play sand volleyball.  We cooked hot dogs, had some chips and a few of us played chubby bunny.  Here is Jonathan shoving marsh mellows in his mouth.
It's hard to say chubby bunny with your mouth full!  His strategy was to shove one in his lower lip and one in his upper.  Didn't really work, I tried :o)
I couldn't stop laughing and I had to use the restroom, so it was really bad!  I think this was only four large marsh mellows.  The record that night was tied at 7.
I think I was trying to make a whole and I was in the middle of saying it here.  Didn't work so well.  They really get mushy and hard to shove once they have been in there for a while.
Then when they get slimy they start to ooze back out.  Six was the most, but I tried seven and this was the result.

Relaxing

We bought a very comfy chair while we were in Minnesota and Haven has commandeered it as her comfy chair.  The past couple of days she will climb up and just sit back and relax.  It just cracks me up.  She acts all grown up in it.
Kicked back and chillin' out with her bear.

Growing Up

Grandma and Grandpa got Haven her first pair of big girl PJ's.  I thought the tight baby PJ's were cute, but these are just to fun!  This picture does not do them justice.  The little frills on the hands and feet are so cute.
Here is Aunt Joanne's silky shirt that I wrote about before.  The pants are a bit to big yet....she can wear some 18m, but in pants she still fits better in 12m.  My tiny girl.

Stylin'

Thank goodness for Haven's Aunts.  They bring class to my daughter.  Haven would not have any stylish silky girly shirts without Aunt Amie and Aunt Joanne.  She would have all play clothes cotton.  Here is a shirt from Aunt Amie, and I still need to get a picture of the pretty shirt from Aunt Joanne.

Messiest Yet!

I think this is the messiest face I can remember.  We made her a pita pizza and apparently put quite a bit of sauce on it.

Cutest Outfit

Mom and dad couldn't resist doing a little bit of fall shopping for Haven and so I have to post the cutest outfit so mom and see it.  She finally is fitting into 18 month clothes!  She can still wear a lot of 12 months though...and she is 16 months old!  She is good at "cheesing" now.
Notice above the heart with the golden cord around her arm.  She finds anything to put on her arm, still.  She has been doing that for months.  I think she might be a girly girl someday.  Oh boy, what will I do?  I am so not a girly girl.  Maybe that is why she loves Aunt Amie so much...she recognizes a girly girl when she sees one!
She is just the cutest.  I love her different playful looks.
Had to get a picture of the hood in back and the cute diaper butt.

Last Days in MN

Jimmy and Amie have two long eared bunnies.  Bella and Thumper are the softest cutest bunnies.  As you have seen before, Haven LOVES to kiss animals.  Here she was kissing Bella.
Haven does not drink milk, but she loves Go Gurt.  It is a bit messy though.  Here she had pink and blue everywhere.  She sure enjoys it though.

We had such a wonderful time at MN.  It was a great mix of seeing new things and relaxing.  Our kind of vacation!  But the best part was that we were with family.

Mall Of America

Yesterday Amie was able to get off work and Jimmy took a half a day off, so we headed to the Mall of America.  We only got to see a floor and a half, so we might be going back Thursday before we head back.  On the way home, due to an accident and the RNC, we got stuck in traffic.  Apparently there are only a few bridges to cross the river.  What should have taken 1/2 hour took over 1 1/2.  We got to see more of St. Paul though!

Below you can see a listing of all of the stores available at "The Mega Mall" -- that is what the locals call it.  Lots and lots of them.
We are only 10 minutes from Wisconsin, so they had a "cheese" store.  Here is Haven cheesing in a child's cheese head.
One of the main reasons I wanted to go to the Mall of America was to see how they put roller coasters in the Mall.  This is a small portion of the large play area.

They had a Lego Land.  Jonathan was in lego heaven!  They had so many large projects that you could put together, but they were $100 - $500.  YIKES.
This clock is made out of legos.
So are the dinosaurs.

They had so many huge things made out of legos.
We did not realize that Famous Dave's originally came from this area, so we were so excited to be able to go.  They had one in the Mall, so we forced Jimmy and Amie to eat there.  Amie had not gone since high school....go figure, some people just don't realize great food when they taste it in high school....just kidding Amie.
It has been such a pleasure to spend our vacation with family.  We have had a wonderful time and Jimmy and Amie are the best of host and hostess.
Jonathan and Jimmy got to ride the NASCAR simulation.  The cars would move around and there was a large screen of the track in front of them.  They had a great time.

Wii and Ikea

Mom and dad spent an extra day, so we played some Wii together.  We created our family characters.  Dad really loved playing tennis.  We really stunk most of the time! We laughed so hard our sides split.  Dad was very dangerous with his arms swinging everywhere.  We think they secretly want to buy one now.

We then went to have the Ikea experience.  My goodness what an experience!  The place was HUGE!  They had a lot of cool things there and they were very reasonable.  I left with big dreams, but only $10 poorer.  Here is Haven geared up to shop.
We had to try out the merchandise.  We are still debating on buying one of these very comfy chairs.
They had one Haven's size.
We had Haven try out all the kids things.
She loved the rocking Moose, but it was a bit to expensive.  They had a lot of great children's furniture and decorations.  I was dreaming.....
