Levi and I came home Sunday afternoon. It was wonderful to stay the second night and day. I did not do that with Haven and regretted it! I am doing so much better after Levi than I did after Haven. I can actually walk without pain now and I was in pain with her for a couple of weeks. Still not getting much sleep though. I have not been able to nap all that much.
The hospital has a board on which you can put your child's footprints. Here are Levi's. The one was a bit smudged.

Jonathan coordinated his outfit with the car seat. We laughed about that. At first we kept calling him a her. We are now getting used to a boy and say her a lot less!

Haven was excited to see the baby. She kissed him, poked him and pretty much was all over him. In all of the excitement she did not take a nap that day.

That first day she wanted to crawl into the car seat and have PawPaw put the cover over her. She just kept getting in and out and buckling the buckles.

Here is our scrawny little boy. He was 6 lbs 7 oz when we brought him home. He has all kinds of extra skin wrinkles that are so cute.

The first night was a rough one. He was up late into the night, or should I say early in the morning, since he slept all day. He did that for a couple of nights. Last night was a bit better.

Tuesday we took him to the doc for his first check-up. He was 6 lbs 7 1/2 oz. They had to prick his little foot to check his jaundice. The test turned out fine. I just forget how tiny they look in the big car seat!

Haven has not shown any signs of jealousy. She is learning that the head is off limits except for kisses. She likes to hold him with our help. She has been enjoying him. Here she covered him up with a blanky (really a burp rag) and shared her bear with him.
