Fruity

I have some very fruity pics from our time at Campmeeting/Family Camp.
The first two are of the kids and a banana. Levi stuffed his mouth so full it started leaking out.

Haven did not want to be outdone, so she had to show us her banana.

Each year they have an afternoon of cold watermelon. From the time she was old enough to eat watermelon, she had enjoyed it fully.

We found out this year that Levi loved it as much as Haven does. He could have entered the annual watermelon eating contest with his skills. What the progression! He didn't come up for air for this whole sequence.

Oh yeah, he was a happy camper after that! And messy!

Aren't they cute :o)

Now that is one happy boy!

Park Fun!

I just loved these pictures of Levi swinging. His face puts a smile on my face.

We have two videos of Levi sliding down an enclosed slide. The first video try was an oopsy, which if you know Levi it is nothing new. He falls more than any kid I have seen. The second try was successful. He was okay after the fall, but we are so used to him falling you can hear our laughs. We were not trying to be insensitive :o) And I taped it sideways, so just cock your head to the side and you should be fine.

Painting the toenails

Jonathan walked into the kitchen to find Haven painting her own toenails. YIKES! She had one full set of toes painted. We went ahead and let her paint the second set, we just put some paper towels down the second time around. She actually did a good job for a three year old!

Backyard Fun

Swinging fun.

Wuffle ball fun. Not really sure how you spell that...

Levi was more interested in the container than the ball.

Milk Mustache

It was hard to catch him, but if you look close Levi has a milk mustache. Actually it is more of a milk goatee! A bit blurry, but it is there.

Deanna Rose and Friends

Last week we were in the KC area. Jonathan had a conference to attend, so I took the kids to hang out with some friends and family. One day we went to the place called Deanna Rose. It is a petting zoo/homestead where the kids can interact with animals. It was a neat place right in the middle of the Overland Park. What an amazing place. I stayed with my friend Carla and her three boys and we met up with my former roommate Rachel and her two children. So we had 7 kids four and under. The kids had a blast.
The chickens were not shy. The kids could reach in a pet them.
They had a tractor the kids could climb on.

In one of the barns they had a display about cows. You could pet the calf and they had a full grown cow in there also.
Haven "milked" the cow. Her comment was look mom he's peeing.
We bought a bottle to feed the goats. She did fine for a while and then got a little scared. Towards the end there were several goats trying to get the bottle at the same time, so it got hectic. The bottom of this post has a video of Haven feeding the goats.
Haven got to go on a pony ride. The girl loves to ride horses!
Jackson and Haven were trying to scare us with their batman costumes.
At the end of the day they all snuggled to watch a movie. Levi and Carter missed out on the fun. They were already in bed.

Visiting

Haven is always finding new friends wherever she goes. We went to visit Wynette, a church member at the nursing home, and Haven snuggled up with her roommate Mary. I think it made Mary's day.

Mother/Daughter Tea

We went to Eldon for their mother/daughter tea. There was a little tea set that mom's friend Peggy brought so that Haven could play with it. She enjoyed pretending with the tea set. My cousin brought a little tea cup that was just Haven's size. She ended up having Kool-Aid instead of tea.
